About
Hi, I'm Lilian Olero, Doula
Pendo La Mama Doula services ("the love of a mother") are top of the notch services catered to all pregnant moms. It was formed with the aim to support moms during their labour and birth.
I provide emotional services to moms with these services being culturally specific to Swahili speaking moms with language barriers. My intention is to provide you with support towards your ideal birth wether it is a vaginal birth, epidural, cesarean.
No matter what setting you choose: hospital, birth centers or even at home. My priority is focused on meeting you where you are and supporting you with all you need to make this special day easier on you, your baby and family. The mom being the center of my attention, by pampering, nurturing and supporting you to get your desired birth.
Why choose a doula?
My passion is to always empower women during their child birth experience by nurturing and supporting them through the beautiful process of becoming a mother.

"Lilian was a God sent during my birth. She had my back and made sure I got the support and information I needed during birth, made sure my children back home were taken care of as I was having my baby in the hospital and connected me with so many resources for my baby while in the hospital.
As a single mother it was great to have her support me during my birth. She understood all my needs and made sure I was informed of all that was taking place during my time in the hospital."

"I heard about Lilian from our community. She had helped a friend of mine during her birth. And was
referred to her. As soon as I told her I was in labor she came and took me to the hospital and never left my side during my labor, she helped cope with pain, made sure I had food from home and it was great to have someone who speak my language in the labor room with me I felt like I was safe and at home with someone who knew how to preserve our culture."

"Lilian was there for me when I was having my baby. I was all alone and did not have anyone else for support . Her presence during my birth was like a calming balm. Being my first baby I did not know what to expect or do.
She was there for me for two days by my side supporting me during my birth until I had my baby, making sure I was comfortable and had food and resources . She was the only familiar face in the hospital speaking my language and made sure my cultural values were observed . I have referred her to friends and family."
